St. Francis heard the Lord speaking to him to Go, rebuild my Church
. Responding to this call, Francis became popular for his charismatic preaching, love of God in all things, and his simple living. CYFM carries on this tradition today in its ministry in the lives of teenagers and families.
Cap Corps volunteers minister directly alongside two Capuchin Franciscan Friars.
Cap Corps volunteers participate in Provincial celebrations, profession of vows, ordinations, Fraternity Day, & many others events.
Cap Corps volunteers are invited to regular gathering with the friars for meals and prayer.
CYFM offers regular opportunities for reflections on the life of St. Francis & Franciscan spirituality: Community, Prayer, Ministry, Minority, & Justice, Peace & Ecology.
Experiential, affective prayer is part of every program.
Cap Corps volunteers become instruments of peace to youth & families.
